We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest experience.
Help resolve any issues that arise within the kitchen or during service periods.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and food safety standards.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
