Duties



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing diverse menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control Lead food preparation activities, including cooking, garnishing, and plating dishes to a high standard Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to foster skill development and teamwork Ensure all food served meets the restaurant's quality standards and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Solid background in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on high-quality service Leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation Previous experience serving customers or managing service flow is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-35,000.00 per year
