Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating delicious dishes that delight our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped for efficient operation.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Experience in food production and preparation within a hospitality environment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for creating innovative dishes and enhancing guest experiences. Culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential. Ability to travel between sites. Must be able to drive and have own transport.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
