We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and presentation Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Train junior staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards Contribute to menu planning and development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal offerings Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through high-quality food presentation and service standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 100.00-150.00 per day

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
