Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and extensive kitchen experience. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our standards. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that align with restaurant standards and customer preferences. Supervise and manage kitchen staff during service, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food production processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes. Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the kitchen. Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards. Strong understanding of food production processes within a restaurant setting. Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,600.00-30,000.00 per year
