Job Description

Dainton Park is a modern, lively golf club set in beautiful grounds with a friendly, familiar feel. Facilities include an 18-hole golf course, driving range, bar, restaurant and conference facilities. We have a fantastic team of green keepers, golf professionals, catering staff and office workers, who all cherish and care for the business as their own.

We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our catering team, preparing a variety of bar snacks, function menus and 'a la carte' dishes. The role is full time flexible hours,

but unlike most catering jobs we won't cripple you with overtime! We offer limited evening service so no split shifts, and if there is no evening function = early finish!

Salary is 32k.

What You'll Do

Understand food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation Create and prepare seasonal dishes for our clubhouse bar and restaurant menus, and private events Inspire and motivate junior chefs and kitchen staff Operate and maintain kitchen equipment Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Manage kitchen operations during the absence of the Head Chef
