We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a vital part of our establishment, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency and quality in food production.
Ensure all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are strictly followed across the kitchen.
Support with menu planning, ingredient ordering, and stock control to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
Maintain organisation within the kitchen environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent culinary skills and professional conduct.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service through culinary excellence.
Experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential.
