Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive working environment.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Participate in serving meals during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising and managing a kitchen team.
