If you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sous Chef position with a focus on baking and pastry, this is your chance to shine!
About the Role:
As a Sous Chef at The Denton Elysian Residences, you will be at the heart of our culinary team, managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality in food preparation and service. You'll support the Head Chef, take charge in their absence, and play a pivotal role in shaping our new restaurant's success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
- Master the art of baking and pastry, from planning to execution
- Utilise the latest technology to maintain compliance and keep everything up to date
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Manage budgetary and payroll expenses within guidelines
- Collaborate on menu development, incorporating seasonal and local trends
- Oversee special events and holiday functions
- Train and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional environment
- Interact with residents and their families, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
