Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service during busy periods. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, including seasonal specials and innovative dishes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Participate in the development of new recipes and techniques to enhance the dining experience for our guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, with a focus on food production and preparation. Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and staff supervision. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within a kitchen setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
