The Ramada Plaza By Wyndham, Hotel, Wrexham is part of the Wyndham Hotel group, one of the largest in the World. However, owned by QN Hotels Ltd. The Hotel has 85 bedrooms, Zara Restaurant, Fusilier Bar, Room Service and conference and banqueting up to 160 delegates

Summary

This Sous Chef will play a crucial role in the kitchen at The Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Hotel, Wrexham by contributing to our mission of delivering remarkable culinary experiences. This position is vital for ensuring high standards of food production and team management within our vibrant dining environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Manage team dynamics to foster a collaborative work environment. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and best practices. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Train new kitchen staff on procedures and standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Culinary experience with a passion for creating exceptional dishes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Act as Head Chef during annual leave and days off.
