We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food production, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Supervise junior team members during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed
Manage food inventory levels, restocking supplies efficiently while minimising waste
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas based on current trends and customer preferences
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a busy kitchen environment
Supervising or team management experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Good communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and front-of-house staff
A background in hospitality or restaurant operations is preferred
Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail and presentation skills
