We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef/Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Supervise junior kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed
Manage food production processes efficiently to meet service times
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Demonstrable skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred
Strong understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
Knowledge of restaurant service standards and customer satisfaction principles
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
