Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty / Spa Therapist to join our team in our newly opened salon - Simply Beautiful Armagh (formerly "The White Orchid"). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beauty / spa treatments and customer service, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care and satisfaction.

As a therapist, you will be responsible for providing various beauty services, including hair removal, manicure / pedicures, facials and massage. You will also be expected to provide Social Media updates daily (training provided if necessary).

Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and understand their needs will be essential in delivering an exceptional experience.

You will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team.

We will consider those finishing their beauty training this year depending on their ability to perform treatments effectively at this stage

Duties

Provide a range of beauty services. Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and products are sanitised. Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to offer clients the best services. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills. Promote products and services to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Handle client bookings and manage appointments efficiently. Update social media platforms daily.

Requirements

Proven experience as a therapist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Proficient in massage techniques and skincare treatments. Knowledge of current beauty trends and products is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A valid qualification or certification in beauty therapy is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 18 per week
