Exciting opportunities are now available at our well-established, Scandinavian-inspired boutique day spa, nestled in the heart of Radlett, Hertfordshire. We are currently on the lookout for a talented Spa Therapist and a Massage Therapist to join our team.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should ideally possess at least one year of experience in the spa and beauty industry but not a must. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
For the Spa Therapist role, proficiency in the following treatments is essential:
Facials
Massages
Additional qualifications such as Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing etc will be viewed favorably.
For the Massage therapist role we would require experience and certification in:
Deep Tissue Massage
Swedish Massage
Hot Stones Massage
Pregnancy Massage
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
Employ various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, tailored to individual client needs.
Assist with front desk duties, including appointment scheduling and guest inquiries.
Promote and upsell spa services and products to enhance client experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and shared areas.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish and deep tissue, tailored to each client's requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitised.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques to continually enhance service quality.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 in Beauty Therapy (required)
Valid certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess client needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Our operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The anticipated start date for these positions is in September.
