With 31 guest rooms in high demand and a renowned fine dining restaurant, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of service and luxury to our guests and spa clients. Our Garden Spa, featuring 6 treatment rooms and an Aqua Thermal Journey, is one of the best places in the Lakes for spa treatments. We are looking for a passionate and professional Level 3 qualified Spa Therapist to join our dedicated team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Spa Therapist on a part time basis with weekend work essential on a 1 on one off basis to provide a range of Elemis and other luxury treatments to our hotel guests and spa visitors. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of customer service, providing treatments such as full-body massages, facials, and other bespoke therapies. As a key member of our team, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming and relaxing experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Elemis treatments and a range of other spa services, including massages, facials, and body treatments. Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to hotel guests and spa clients, delivering treatments to the high standards set by Appleby Manor Hotel & Garden Spa. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, ensuring that clients feel welcomed, relaxed, and cared for. Assist with reception duties, including answering calls, booking appointments, promoting products and treatments, and handling inquiries. Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth operations within the spa, including day-to-day department management. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the treatment rooms and spa area. Take part in retail sales, promoting and recommending Elemis products, with an opportunity to earn bonuses through retail commissions. Participate in regular training and development, including Elemis & Lava Shell training to enhance knowledge and skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Level 3 Spa Therapy qualification or equivalent. Proven experience in a spa therapist role, with a passion for delivering high-quality treatments. Knowledge of Elemis treatments and products is highly desirable. Positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team player, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong customer service focus, with a commitment to providing a memorable experience for all clients. Good computer skills for appointment booking and sales tracking. Ability to perform additional tasks such as handling reception duties and promoting services/products. Friendly and professional appearance with attention to personal grooming.
