Experienced Massage Therapist & Manageress - Self-Employed Position

Due to continued expansion combined with the opening of our new spa and wellness facility (in January), we are currently looking for experienced staff to join the team at Aurah.

Role Overview

This dual role combines delivering luxury spa treatments with overseeing the smooth, high-standard operation of Aurah. You will perform advanced and holistic treatments while also supporting the management, organisation, and daily running of the spa. The ideal candidate is hands-on, confident, organised, and passionate about providing a seamless, luxury experience for every client.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of treatments, including facials, HydroFacials, Japanese head spa rituals, sensory wellness add-ons, and (if qualified) other clinical services (training may be provided). Complete full consultations, skin/scalp assessments, and personalised treatment plans (if needed). Maintain exceptional hygiene, room setup, and treatment standards in line with Aurah protocols Manage daily operations including scheduling, client flow, and time management Support with reception duties--bookings, checkouts, enquiries, and client communication Lead by example with professionalism, warmth, and the Aurah brand values Support training, onboarding, and guidance for new staff or assistants Handle client concerns calmly and professionally, ensuring the best outcome for the client Oversee stock control, ordering, and treatment room organisation Assist with content creation, social media support, and presenting the Aurah brand Contribute ideas to elevate the client experience and improve the spa environment
Skills & Qualities

Strong client care and communication skills Highly organised, punctual, and proactive in both treatment and management tasks Confident delivering treatments with excellent attention to detail Calm, warm, and professional manner that aligns with Aurah's luxury, mindful atmosphere Ability to lead, support, and work well within a small team Passion for skincare, wellness, and continuous learning Relevant beauty/therapy qualifications depending on treatments performed, and relative manageress training
Stepping in as needed to fill gaps, ensuring client receives high-end experience they expect from Aurah.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 24,420.00-49,784.94 per year
