. This role provides children with the opportunity to develop language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in speaking Spanish in a fun and interactive environment.
The club runs for
one hour per week, Tuesday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
, giving children a weekly chance to practise speaking, listening, and basic writing in Spanish through games, activities, and conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during Spanish sessions in a safe and supportive environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage speaking, listening, and understanding of Spanish.
Promote enjoyment, confidence, and cultural awareness in learning a new language.
Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress.
Ensure the learning area and resources are safe, organised, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading language sessions for children is essential.
Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and safe way.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are desirable for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
A background in teaching, childcare, or language education is highly desirable.
