At Hampstead Hill, we offer a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum, including computing, art, Spanish, yoga and conservation, to provide a well-rounded education. We are committed to academic excellence and nurturing children's curiosity, independence and love for learning in a happy and stimulating environment. Day-to-day SEND provision management - maintaining an accurate SEND register, analysing assessment data, and coordinating interventions. Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals - including educational psychologists, local authorities and specialist teachers. Supporting pupils and their families - ensuring appropriate support plans are in place and communicating effectively with parents and carers. Staff development and training - identifying training needs and leading CPD to enhance inclusive teaching across the school.

What We Offer

At Hampstead Hill, we value our staff and offer a range of benefits, including:

? Wellbeing support - Access to Health Assured services

Person Specification

We are looking for a SENDCo who:

Holds the National Award for SEN Co-ordination (or is willing to complete it within 3 years) and has QTS. Possesses a deep knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and upcoming changes within SEND policy. Has experience in leading CPD and training staff to improve SEND provision. Is an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with staff, parents and external professionals. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with an understanding of the additional vulnerabilities of pupils with SEND.
