Salary Details: SNA -

GradeB 24,796 per annum pro rata, actual 12.85 per hour.

Salary Details MDSA -

Grade A 24,225 per annum pro rata, actual 12.56 per hour

Hours of Work:

SNA 8.45 am - 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm Monday - Friday term time only
MDSA 12pm-1pm Monday - Friday Term time only

Job/Person Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring Special Needs Assistant to join our school. We are a happy, friendly two-form entry school with a strong Christian ethos based on our values of love, courage and hope.


We are looking for a candidate who:Works collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and positive attitude Wants to make a difference to children's lives Has a passion for helping children to become independent and resilient learners Is reliable, resilient and reflective Can communicate effectively with children and adults Has high expectations of behaviour Is kind, caring, calm and able to listen sensitively to children Supports the Christian ethos of the school and demonstrates conduct in keeping with this. Knowledge of British Sign language and/or Makaton would be desirable
