We are seeking a committed
Special Needs Teaching Assistant
to work alongside teaching staff and pupils within a nurturing and inclusive environment. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm, available for the full academic year.

, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with SEND by promoting their learning, confidence, and personal development. In this role as a
Special Needs Teaching Assistant
, you will:
Provide individualised support to children with SEND, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
Help create a safe, engaging, and encouraging learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to monitor and promote pupil progress
Support children in reaching developmental and educational milestones
Build positive relationships and assist with behaviour management strategies
This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their experience while making a genuine difference in a primary school setting.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a
Special Needs Teaching Assistant
or in a similar role within a primary school setting
A passion for supporting children with SEND and a commitment to making a positive impact
Available to start immediately and able to commit for the full academic year
Must have or be willing to obtain a
DBS
check
Experience working with children, with references available
Local to Watford or within a commutable distance
