Job Title: Specialist Cleaner
Hourly Rate of Pay: 12.75
Contract Type: Fixed 3 Month Term Contract
Type of Employment: Full Time
Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm)
Location: McCormick (UK), 5 Forli Strada, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE7 3HH
Note: The role requires good physical strength and ground work.
In your new role as a Specialist Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. This is a physical role, frequently using stairs, some of the duties can get very warm, areas will include:
Tank Farm, duties include cleaning up spillages, emptying buckets, and general cleaning tasks. In the DAF area, responsibilities involve general cleaning activities, such as cleaning shutters. On the Plant Deck, tasks focus on hoovering, cleaning, and controlling dust, which is primarily composed of starch and sugar. Various machines are used to carry out these tasks effectively, including jet washers, scrubber machines, and hoovers.

• In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
