Our client is looking for a skilled Credit Administration Specialist to join their UK-based finance operations in Central London. This is a high-impact position focused on post-approval credit documentation, credit control, and risk management across corporate and private banking portfolios.The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting credit lifecycle processes from documentation to collateral management.Key ResponsibilitiesDocumentation & Risk ControlDraft and manage credit documentation such as facility letters, security documents, and syndication agreements.Validate signatures, resolutions, and POAs, ensuring full compliance with internal policies.Digitize and archive documents securely; rectify deficiencies and obtain deferral/waiver approvals when needed.Encode collateral and facility data accurately into banking systems.Credit Limits & System EntriesActivate credit limits and ensure accuracy of terms, rates, and charges in core banking platforms.Coordinate provisioning entries, grade changes, and suspension/write-off entries.Assist in regular credit limit reviews and data maintenance.Reporting & CompliancePrepare documentation deficiency reports and follow up on expired items.Support the department in preparing monthly MIS and internal audit documentation.Ensure alignment with UK Financial Crime Framework, Group Conduct Standards, and internal SOPs.Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with Risk, Credit, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver seamless credit support.Address queries, service requests, and escalation matters with urgency and accuracy.Maintain awareness of credit policies, UK regulations, and evolving financial governance practices.Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.35 years of credit admin or legal documentation experience, preferably within UK banking.Skills & Attributes:Proficient in credit admin workflows, legal doc verification, and system data entry (e.g., T24, SharePoint).Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong ethical standards, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Why Apply?Work on high-value credit cases in a respected financial institution.Gain exposure to UK and international credit operations.Be part of a collaborative, performance-driven team.
