The post holder will be part of the Allied Health Professionals (AHP) workforce, undertaking a specialist role in delivering and evaluating specialist dietetic therapy as part of the wider multidisciplinary care team. This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to provide dietary counselling and education to improve knowledge, management skills and confidence in both service users and other health care professionals. This will involve predominantly managing a diabetes and weight management caseload using evidence-based, patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate interventions
