Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team to work 121 with a child in the setting. Tuesday to Friday 8am to 6pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. You will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures regarding childcare. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and external agencies as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is beneficial. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity.
