We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, part-time Hand Therapist to join our Physiotherapy department based at Spire Elland.Main duties of the jobTo provide a high standard of specialist hand therapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the physiotherapy department Potential for development of Advanced Practice role supported by specialist hand and wrist consultant Management of conditions such as Trapeziectomy, Fasciotomy, Tendon repairs, joint replacements Provision of holistic hand therapy care including wound management and provision of custom made splints for hand and wrist pathologies Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the therapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.About usSpire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985.
