-Purpose:

This role will support our Nickel Business


Management of the preparation and administration of physical commodity contracts including engagement with group functions and customers.


Responsibilities include:



Sales Operations / Execution:



Preparation of physical commodity contracts based on the trade details contained within the trade recap from the front office, an approved agreement or relevant group legal approved template. Analysis of the trade details to understand if any escalation conditions exist and notify accordingly. Circulation of the draft contract for review by Anglo American functions (specifically Legal) Incorporation of Legal feedback into the draft contract and pass to Front Office for final review. Dealing with the management and tracking of any disputes between functions. Arrangement of the contract to be approved and executed by both parties in accordance with the DAF and MOA Manage deal revisions / re-negotiations, determining if this requires a contract amendment. Drafting of a contract addendum (or relevant contractual document) including consultation with Legal to finalise draft addendum. Management of contract amendment disputes internally and externally. Execution of the deal confirmation and deal validation processes within the physical trade capture process

Compliance



Adherence to all Anglo American Group policies and procedures, as well as observing proper standards of conduct relating to the role. Comply with Anglo American Security and Operating Standards

Stakeholder Management



Build and develop long-term relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers and suppliers. Manage the relationship with customers, ensuring an excellent service level.

Risk and Governance



Deliver the strategy and governance framework. Ensure all transactions are executed within approved limits.

Qualifications

-5 years marketing / trading experience on Nickel and/or related products Experience of contract drafting including reviewing, revising and negotiation of key terms Experience of compliance converting Know Tour Customer and onboarding processes Experience of sales operations and logistics processes Good collaborative sprit Good interpersonal skills targeting both internal and external stakeholders Good communication skills
