Status: Permanent, full time



Location: Remote within the UK with bi-annual team meetings in person



Report

To: Scientific Director



Hours: Office hours; Monday to Friday, available and responsive via phone, email and teams during working hours; typically 09:00 - 18:00



Salary: 40,000 - 55,000 per annum, subject to experience

Would you:



Want to be the go-to person for scientific queries, content challenges, and best-practice advice on Publications and Medical Education projects? Be excited to create high quality and scientifically accurate content across a range of communications, such as meetings-related materials, publications, online education and journal manuscripts? Be able to provide editorial support for medical and scientific communications, including speaker slide decks, adapting manuscripts to match journal requirements, preparing packs for manuscript submission and checking reference packs? Understand the needs and pressures of healthcare communications agencies (our clients), and can communicate clearly, concisely and passionately?

Do you:



Have proven Medical Education or Medical Communications experience? Enjoy being part of a close-knit team and remote work environment? Have good time management, and can prioritise your workload and manage projects super efficiently? Have a Bioscience Undergraduate degree? Understand good publications practice? Understand Veeva PromoMats and the ABPI code (preferred, but not essential)? Have a PhD or Master's in Bioscience or related field (preferred, but not essential)?

The opportunity:




Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our team. We have an amazing opportunity at this exciting time of growth. You would be expected to deliver high quality medical writing and other communications materials for our healthcare communications agency clients, primarily in Publications and Medical Education, within our Science Communications Team.


For the right candidate, this is an opportunity for you to develop your leadership skills, with the potential for future line management responsibilities as our team grows.



You would be mostly working on a range of non-promotional materials (plus some promotional materials), including; meetings, slides, e-learning, journal manuscripts, reference packs, and manuscript submissions.

If you have

Essential:



Proven Medical Education or Medical Communications agency experience Bioscience degree Excellent communication skills; verbal and written Numerate IT literate; Microsoft Office Demonstrate great customer service

Desirable:



Qualification(s) in writing medical publications, e.g. ISMPP CMPP Higher degree (PhD or Master's) Understanding of the ABPI code Knowledge of Veeva PromoMats
