CPFT are delighted to advertise this post which is funded by NHS Charities together and hosted by Head to Toe Charity for a 0.2wte Menopause specialist practitioner on an 18 month Temporary contract.
The role of the menopause Specialist Practitioner will support CPFTs Staff Wellbeing Service to deliver the Trusts Menopause workplace pledge which aligns with the Trusts Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This will include supporting the Staff wellbeing service lead to develop the Trusts menopause policy.
The post holder will support in the development of education and training for staff and managers across the organisation and will provide 1:1 workplace menopause assessments using clinical skills, knowledge and experience. The post holder will support in the delivery and chairing of the staff menopause support group and work Trust wide to implement the menopause pledge. The post holder will work collaboratively with managers and staff to support, develop and/or implement initiatives to enhance staff experience.
Provide advice and guidance to staff via the Menopause Support Group & one-to-one Menopause Workplace Assessments
Promote initiatives that support women's physical and mental wellbeing
Elevate and promote the Trusts Menopause Policy and Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Support the development and delivery of training to leadership and managers
Support the launch & promotion of The Menopause Workplace Pledge

To work as an autonomous member of the Staff Wellbeing Service (SWBS), providing high quality practice.
To be responsible for own caseload and undertake assessment of staff who are experiencing menopause and provide advice for managing symptoms and supporting staff.
To be accountable for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment to patients within professional guidelines, with the support of the multidisciplinary team.
Provide support and education to peers, Trust wide staff and managers in relation to CPFT's commitment to improve support for staff experiencing menopause
To support the team lead to develop the Trust wide Menopause Pledge, including the development and implementation of the Menopause Policy.
To be accountable for a delegated case load
To prioritise all referrals according to clinical need and allocate or signpost appropriately
To provide a high standard of care.
To provide support and education to non-registered staff and students in the Staff Wellbeing Service.
To work across the whole of the CPFT area as required. This may include office environments, wards, clinics or community settings and will include lone working
To provide specialist advice to professionals from other disciplines (e.g. occupational health colleagues) and managers.
