This role will be predominately based in the East at Exeter, working collaboratively with our colleagues from both sites, giving you the chance to connect the services across our trust. Youll be supported by the wider Team and work closely with Neonatal and Maternity leaders to achieve our vision for excellent, family-centred care. Well support your professional development every step of the way, helping you grow your leadership, education, and strategic skills while delivering a service that changes lives. In this role, youll lead the development and delivery of the Trust-wide Infant Feeding Service in line with UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) standards, working collaboratively with maternity, neonatal, and community teams to ensure consistent, evidence-based, and family-centred care.
You will champion quality improvement through audits and feedback, deliver inspiring training to build staff confidence and competence, and provide expert, compassionate advice to families, helping them make informed choices and feel confident in feeding their babies. At the heart of your work will be promoting a culture that celebrates breastfeeding, responsive parenting, and the reduction of health inequalities, ensuring every family receives the best possible support from the very start.
