About the Role




We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Operations Analyst

to join our Specialist Mortgages division at Hampshire Trust Bank. You'll play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and driving continuous improvement across our processes. This is a hands-on role where you'll provide analytical insights, streamline workflows, and help deliver positive customer outcomes in a growing and ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities



Act as a point of contact for operational queries on data and processes Create and maintain detailed process maps and SOPs Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements Produce operational performance reports and dashboards Track and report KPIs related to service operations Monitor, validate, and maintain data accuracy across core systems Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders Contribute to small-change initiatives and operational improvements Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change outcomes

What We're Looking For



Strong Excel and SQL skills; familiarity with BI tools Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) Analytical and problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently with initiative and self-motivation Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, data analytics or related field is a plus Familiarity with mortgage banking concepts and regulations is a plus
