An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Nurse or Practitioner to join the Hull and East Riding CAMHS Community Eating Disorder Team based in Beverley on a permanent basis.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Registered Practitioner with post qualifying experience that may be a Nurse (Mental Health, Learning Disability or Children's), Social Worker, Occupational Therapist etc. Previous CAMHS experience is not essential but would be of benefit. Experience of using evidence based systemic interventions and working with families is essential and experience of working with eating disorders is desirable.
The post entails working in a lively, busy Multi-disciplinary Team delivering high quality mental health assessment and predominantly systemic intervention to children and young people with eating disorders and their families.
The team covers a large geographical area and works in partnership with other agencies and professionals within the Hull and East Riding boundary.
The post holder will receive supervision, support and training from the team and other providers.
The ability to commute within the service's geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
