Specialist Nurse - Oncology / Urology - Full Time - Lancashire

Working alongside a globally renowned pharmaceutical company providing gold standard care to prostate cancer patients, you'll be managing your own caseload of patients in a clinic setting together with virtual patient touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities



Working as part of a supportive, dynamic team of UK wide Specialist Nurses - focused on the delivery of this Patient Support Programme.

Covering clinics at Preston, Burnley and Lancaster - mix of in clinic and virtual support.

Be at the heart of collaborating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.

Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating treatment for your own caseload of prostate patients.

Provide continuity of care for your patients.

Working as an advocate for your patient's needs, you'll be providing advice, information and educational support to prostate cancer patients and their carers - either in the outpatient NHS clinic or remotely.

About You



You'll be a current registered nurse with proven experience in SACT and urology nursing.

You'll have experience of working within a haematological / oncology environment.

Must have a minimum of two (2) years relevant clinical experience with direct patient contact.

Current UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
