Job description

The Directorate of Faculty Professional Services at the University of Winchester supports a diverse range of professional programmes -- all of which require students to undertake practice placements. We are seeking an organised, technically proficient, and service-oriented individual to join our Placement Team as a Specialist Placement Administrator.



The postholder will collaborate closely with academic teams, students, placement providers, external stakeholders, and the professional placement team to ensure the system operates accurately, reliably, and responsively. This role is vital in maintaining regulatory compliance, enhancing the student experience, and enabling effective learning in practice through resolving complex technical issues, coordinating system improvements, and supporting users across the academic community.



The ideal candidate will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and have experience in systems administration or technical support, ideally within an educational or administrative environment. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and the ability to quickly learn and manage digital systems are essential. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a flexible, proactive approach to work are key attributes for success in this role.
