Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to play a key part in supporting our Strategic Assets business? Balfour Beatty is looking for a proactive Administrator to join our dynamic team in Derby. You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, ensuring commercial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing



Carrying out a full range of administrative duties to deliver an efficient service Processing weekly timesheets and inputting data into our financial systems Managing supplier invoices from start to finish for both internal and external customers Supporting general financial and commercial tasks Operating office systems, processing documents, and maintaining accurate records Communicating regularly with stakeholders to support partnership working Ensuring compliance, control, and governance at all times Providing data and reports as requested


Who we're looking for



Previous experience in a similar administrative role Strong organisational and planning skills, with accuracy and attention to detail Excellent customer service focus and a sense of urgency in resolving issues Professional and confidential approach Problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely, informed decisions Understanding of when and how to escalate issues Flexible, adaptable, and able to work cross-functionally Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong IT skills (experience with Oracle R12 & Insphire systems is an advantage, but not essential--training provided)
