Access Ability is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Sessional Tutor to deliver
specialised skill-building sessions
for people with Autism and learning disabilities. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in areas such as
music, photography, art, IT skills, digital media, cooking, fitness
, or other creative/technical disciplines.
As part of this role, you will join a small specialist team, dedicated to providing activities that expand experiences, raise aspirations and build skills.

About the Role
As a Specialist Support Tutor, you will:
Design and deliver engaging, ability-inclusive sessions in your area of expertise.
Support participants to develop new skills, express themselves, and achieve their goals.
Foster a fun, respectful, and encouraging environment.
Assist with social participation and community engagement through your specialised sessions.
Maintain clear and accurate session notes and reports.
Work collaboratively with participants, and the Access Ability team.
Work alongside the larger team to ensure that information regarding our young adults' needs and progress are shared.
Maintain records and risk assessments.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated skill or qualifications in a specialised area (e.g., music, photography, IT, art, creative media, fitness, or other disciplines).
Ability to adapt session content to suit diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles.
A genuine interest in empowering people with disabilities.
Strong communication, patience, and a person-centred approach.
Reliability and professionalism.
Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not essential).
