Come and join our friendly and passionate Speech and Language Therapy team in Brent, one of London's most diverse and vibrant boroughs.



We are excited to offer a Band 6 opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our well-established



Mainstream Schools Team. This role offers the chance to work across a range of Brent primary and secondary schools, supporting children and young people at SEN Support and those with EHCPs.

Main duties of the job



In this role you will:



Assess and support children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, including DLD, ASD, speech sound disorders, and selective mutism.



Provide both individual and group therapy sessions within your allocated schools.



Offer advice, strategies and training to school staff and parents to support communication needs across the school environment.



Liaise effectively with parents, SENCOs, teachers and other professionals involved in a child's care.



Deliver training packages, workshops and contribute to wider project work across the service.



Manage your own caseload independently with access to regular supervision, peer support and clinical guidance
