Specialist Speech & Language Therapist Adult Community
Job Description
As an autonomous practitioner, youll provide person-centred care and lead on assessment, therapy, and specialist advice for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. Youll collaborate with referrers, families, carers, and colleagues across health, social care, and voluntary sectors to deliver effective interventions and integrated care plans. Youll also contribute to clinical governance, audits, QI, and service development. Training others on SLT best practice is part of the role.
Youll receive regular supervision and CPD, and support the development of the Brent SLT team by supervising students and junior colleagues. Please refer to Job description and Person Specification for outline of skills, knowledge and experience required.
