Are you an existing Band 6 therapist looking to develop your specialist skills or an experienced Band 5 therapist reading to take the next step?



This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, to join our friendly and innovative supportive Children's team in Bradford, a vibrant multi-cultural city.



The successful applicant will work with the paediatric population, working across a variety of locations, including community clinics, nurseries and school settings. You will join a team of dedicated Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Support Workers who are passionate about meeting the needs of our population.



The Speech and Language Therapy service provides a supportive network of generalist, specialist and highly specialist therapists working in a wide range of clinical areas, and there are excellent opportunities for continuous professional development and clinical supervision.

To work effectively as part of an established Children's Speech and Language Therapy team to provide assessment, therapy, advice and support to children and young people aged 0 - 18 who have specific needs in relation to their communication and dysphagia if applicable.



To manage a caseload of complex cases including; individuals who present with speech and language disorders, social communication disorders ,complex cases of paediatric communication difficulties and dysphagia if applicable.

Job Overview Continued-



We will be interviewing for various options at this specialist band 6 level:



Specialist SaLT post for Children's Speech and Language Therapy: This will be working in nurseries and schools in Bradford to support communication. Mixed specialist post-with a paediatric dysphagia component : We are particularly interested to hear from therapists who have completed post-graduate training in dysphagia. We also welcome applicants interested in developing in this area, we will support you through your dysphagia competencies. Stammering - we have sessions available for specialist Speech and Language Therapists with experience supporting people who stammer.
