Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for those who are passionate about working with preschool aged children with a range of speech, language and communication needs, in a clinic setting. Our caseload is primarily children under the age of 5, with opportunities to work with older children and young people who stammer or require support with their speech sounds. You will work alongside Speech & Language Therapists and SLT Assistants, providing support to children and their families. You will deliver individual and group therapy, offer initial assessment and support the team with our daily drop-in clinic offer. We also work closely with Lewisham education settings, delivering training and support, and nursery visits for specific children.



To deliver Speech and Language Therapy services to CYP seen by the Clinic Team



To work with clinic link colleagues and clinic leads in the development of clinical pathways and service development projects



To take responsibility for managing a clinic caseload, including triaging new referrals, managing queries, prioritisation, supporting staff and escalating to clinic leads where required



To support negotiation with all stakeholders, including service users, around service implementation
