Part time, 0.5 FTE, Fixed term

Salary Grade 5 is 38,817- 42,509 per annum including London Weighting

The pro-rata 0.5 FTE salary is 19,409 - 21,255 per annum including London Weighting

Hybrid work is available with at least one day per week onsite.

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a prestigious institution founded in 1906, is dedicated to providing innovative training in speech and drama. As a constituent of the University of London, we offer a diverse range of programs that prepare students for successful careers in the performing arts.

We seek a Specialist Study Skills Tutor to join our Disability Service. Working as part of a small and friendly team, the Tutor will support students to overcome barriers to academic achievement and enable them to develop the skills to succeed in higher education.

The role holder will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the effects of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), current professional membership and experience of teaching study skills appropriate for a higher education context. They will also possess an awareness of the strengths which neurodiverse students can bring to a learning situation and the skills that will enable them to overcome barriers to learning.

The Disability Service is part of Central's Student Centre, which includes a Student Advice Service and a Counselling Service.
