An inclusive specialist setting in the Peterborough area is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September. This role is ideal for someone who believes in nurturing each child's potential through a therapeutic, personalised approach to learning.

Your Role Will Involve:



Supporting the delivery of tailored Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse additional needs Collaborating closely with teachers, speech and occupational therapists to promote each child's communication, independence and daily living skills Creating a safe, positive, and adaptable environment where children feel secure, valued and ready to learn Helping to embed a curriculum focused on practical, hands-on learning, emotional development and personal growth Using your relationship-building skills to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

We're Looking For:



Experience working in a SEND, residential or alternative provision setting (or strong transferable experience) A nurturing, consistent and proactive attitude to supporting students with varied and sometimes complex needs An understanding of communication methods such as PECS, Makaton or AAC is beneficial (training can be provided) Confidence to work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small, structured groups A commitment to building trust and long-term progress, not just short-term results

Pay: 95.00-110.00 per day
