BUSINESS: RESPIRATORY PROTECTION TRAINING AND SERVICE PROVIDER

We are a small independent Ltd company providing a variety of training and support services to a wide range of industry in respect of respiratory protection and hazardous space activities.

We are aiming to further develop the business, and are seeking a suitable person to work with us initially on a part time (day- rate) basis to help us grow, with an expectation of a more formal working relationship as the business develops.

We have been operating for 25 years and have a solid key customer base on which to expand.

This role would suit a Firefighter, Police officer or ex-military person, or anyone who who has previous knowledge of our key activities. (Respiratory protection, Aviation and industrial hazardous spaces, Face Fit testing, Breathing apparatus).

The proven ability to present both practical and theoretical training, together with a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment are key.

Some technical ability is also desirable, as we produce and maintain bespoke breathing air systems for some of our customers.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.(The ability to tow a small trailer would be beneficial as we have a mobile training unit).

Our base of operations and storage unit are in the South of England near Farnborough, so local to this area is preferred.

Our activities are mostly in the South of England but we also cover the UK and deliver some of our training and servicing in Northern Europe.

Initially this is a self-employed position. Applicants will be responsible keeping their own financial records in order, and their own tax commitments.
