Specialist Transfusion Practitioner
Job Description
We are looking for a registered nurse with experience of blood transfusions from an acute clinical background to join our Transfusion Practitioner team, based within the Blood Transfusion department in Pathology. Experience of teaching and supporting colleagues with learning is desirable as one of our principal areas of work is the education of the workforce for whom blood transfusion forms part of their role. The role will give you an opportunity to participate in trust-wide audit and project management in order to improve practice so attention to detail and organisation skills are a definite advantage. If you have a collaborative approach, enjoy networking across disciplines and specialties and working as part of a specialist team then working as a Specialist Transfusion Practitioner could be the perfect role for you.
