Layers is the hottest new opening in the London bakery & specialty coffee scene!

We are an independent bakery cafe on London City Island, East London. Everything is baked in house at the highest quality using fresh, fun flavors. We are looking for a charismatic individual that will showcase our products in the cafe which will also be sold all around London through our wholesale side of the business.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate La Marzocco espresso machine and other equipment to make specialty coffee drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries, as needed

Skills:

-Coffee enthusiast
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
