We are seeking an experienced Locum Specialty Doctor to join our NHS trust , starting immediately. This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment, ideal for doctors with experience across a range of specialties. You will provide high-quality care in a range of clinical settings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team working across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Provide comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in your specialty area.
Work closely with senior clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Participate in the care of emergency and complex cases, liaising with other medical teams when necessary.Perform specialized procedures relevant to the specialty.
Supervision and Teaching:
Supervise junior medical staff (e.g., Foundation Year doctors, CT trainees) and provide teaching sessions.
Participate in medical education programs, grand rounds, and case presentations.
Ensure junior staff are gaining appropriate clinical experience and are supported during their rotations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with legal and Trust policies.
Provide clear and concise clinical documentation, ensuring continuity of care.
Participate in audits, clinical governance activities, and patient safety initiatives.
Ensure that all practices conform to relevant healthcare standards and protocols.
Contribute to quality improvement projects and team meetings.
Work alongside allied health professionals (nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, etc.) to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Provide support during on-call or out-of-hours services, depending on the specialty and department needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential:
