Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients of various age groups, including children and geriatrics. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with diverse mental health needs.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Manage medication prescriptions and monitor patient responses to psychopharmacological treatments. Offer crisis management interventions as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in telehealth services as required, ensuring accessibility for all patients. Participate in data collection and analysis to improve treatment outcomes. Provide addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use disorders. Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring tailored therapeutic approaches.

Requirements



Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry. Post-residency experience preferred, particularly in pediatric psychiatry or geriatrics. Strong understanding of mental health counseling techniques and methodologies. Experience working within hospital settings and outpatient clinics is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and intake procedures. Proficient in crisis management strategies and PTSD care techniques. Knowledge of behavioral health practices and diagnostic evaluation processes. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, including those with developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate patient interactions and documentation. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of psychiatry. Pay: 65.00-75.00 per hour
