Hospice Nurse Specialist / Speciality Nurse
Salary:
Band 7 (46,148 - 52,809 per annum / pro rata)
Contract:
Permanent, 22.5 hours per week
Plus, a 12 month Waiting List for Permanent & Temporary Full-Time/Part-Time posts
Locations:
North Coast Team (covering all the Northern Trust Area)
Role:
Working as a Hospice Nurse Specialist/Speciality Nurse, as part of a team of nurses, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a specialist advisory service through the management of a caseload of patients within a community setting.
To assist the Head of Adult Hospice Services in meeting the service key performance indicators, making best use of resources.
To utilise their leadership skills, supporting the monitoring and achievement of standards of care, delivering high quality, clinically effective care and implementing service developments.
The post holder will act as a resource to health care professionals within primary care, Northern Ireland Hospice multidisciplinary team, Trust multidisciplinary teams, agencies and individuals.
