This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specification/Process Technologist to join an established and successful company based in Mold, North Wales. Tiger Tim Products Ltd is the global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of Firelighters and BBQ products.
The Role :
Creation and maintenance of all finished product specifications.
Liaise with commercial and planning teams to ensure the internal product specification is completed, issued, and amended when necessary, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
Generate, review, and approve artwork, labels, barcodes and packaging for regulatory alignment and be aware of future changes to legislation.
Support new product development by working closely with Quality, Production, Sales and Logistics to ensure new products are accurately developed and implemented.
Completion of customer, self-assessment and compliance questionnaires.
Create new items codes for raw materials and finished goods along with maintaining existing ones in a database.
Build and update Bill of Materials and manage changes.
Allocate barcodes via GS1 system.
Maintain all associated QMS documents and procedures in line with the role.
Manage product samples for new business opportunities and launches.
Respond to any customer queries relating to the specification and amends as necessary including portal maintenance
Support the Quality team with customer visits / site audits and traceability exercises
Act as an internal auditor for QMS, driving compliance and corrective actions.
This role will suit you if:
You have experience in specifications, compliance, or technical support within the product manufacturing industry.
You're comfortable with specification systems, regulations, and working across departments.
You have a science or technical qualification.
You have strong attention to detail and enjoy getting things right the first time.
You're proactive, organised, and enjoy problem-solving.
Experience with Retailer portals, SAGE 200 and ECHA would be advantageous.

Pay: 31,120.03-41,680.46 per year
