Overview

As a Speech and Language Specialist Jobs in Ealing, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others in the area. We have a number of Speech and Language Specialist shifts available across different settings in Ealing.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as swallowing disorders. Develop and implement tailored therapy and treatment plans. Provide therapy on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Support patients in developing communication strategies that promote independence and quality of life. Collaborate with families, carers, schools, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Maintain accurate clinical records and produce professional reports. Educate and train carers, teachers, and other staff on communication and swallowing strategies. Stay up to date with best practices, research, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent). Registration with HCPC (or relevant professional body). Experience in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication difficulties (paediatric and/or adult caseloads). Knowledge of a wide range of therapy approaches and interventions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to engage effectively with patients and families. Organisational and time management skills to handle varied caseloads. All necessary training certificates and documents that will be listed via email after applications are completed.
